Yoga Abs

This is an Abs pattern from (pattern 9900)

Lying on back, legs straight up (soles of feet to ceiling). Bring one leg down to floor - almost (couple inches off). Legs straight, feet flexed, maintaining lower back by keeping lower portion of the abs tight. Holding the legs in the "L" bring the hands behind the head and crunch up, shoulder blades off the mat. Control ! Keep breathing ! Do 10 or so & then switch the legs around and do another 10.

**This can be modified - the leg that is parallel to the floor can be brought up to any level comfortable to the participant. Both legs can even remain straight up, just had a hip lift to bring in that lower portion when crunching.**

This is from Kathy Smith's New Yoga Challenge video. I love it 'cause it's intense and it is easily modified for all levels.
