Killer class with style

This is a Cycling pattern from (pattern 9977)

My class is all about how hard we can make it. They want to fall off the bike at the end, and do it all over again the nexy day. Here are some ideas. If your really on a road race, instead of "sprinting up the hill", your going to be "passing the person on your right". When you tell them to pass, they know to pick up the pace. I like to do interval jumps,8,4, and 2 counts, then put a 10 second standing sprint in the middle. "Affirmation" by the same group who did the "I need you" (cherry cola) song is good. Blanked out name of group. It is also fun to do rolling hills seated, 30 second hill, 30 second sprint, for a song and then go right into a steep hill then back down the hill sprinting. I give them the choice to take breaks and my 60 minute classes go straight through now, drinking water as they climb and sprint. Jock jams have great music along with the new NOW cd's.
