This is an Aquatic pattern from (pattern 10005)

Phase 1. On the spot

Phase 2. Rebound

Phase 3. Big Move.

Arrange class so all facing in one direction ready to circle the pool. Keep going until whirlpool effect seen, when changing direction encourage to fight the water!

This is the peak, simply work back through Phase 3 until you are marching on the spot. Finish off as you like. Enjoy with all age groups and abilities - I use 1960's music and encourage everyone to sing along, it takes their mind of what they are doing!

Imagine all moves to 32 count - obviously not all done to this, sometimes more time needed for teaching points. Should take 45 mins, including warm up and cool down. You'll see the pattern really quick. I use two arm positions for most of class 1. short arms - elbows pinned to the side, can move forward and back or side to side, and 2. long arms - arms straight reach as far forward and back as possible, brush thighs with thumbs on the way passed. Oh, shallow water!!!
