**OPTION for L-step, corner. Incorporate knee lifts into the L-steps. Instead of L-step corner corner, do alternating knee lifts in the shape of an 8. That is, first knee lift off the left side of the bench (as you would normally do) then walking forward and turning around while alternating knees. Then do the same on the right side of the bench, only you'll be entering from the north side of the bench. Hope this isn't too confusing.
