Squat 'n Sweat

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 8565)

I like to use this in the middle or at the end of class to slow the pace but pick up the intensity. It works great with the song 'No limits'!

Begin with both feet on the step (as you would for a straddle step). All work will be to the sides with the short ends front and behind you. Each segment is repeated to complete 16 counts:

(1) TRIPLE SQUAT

(2) SINGLE SQUATS

(3) DOUBLE LUNGES

(4) SINGLE LUNGES

(5) REPEATER SQUAT

(6) REPEATER SQUAT TWIST

* Repeater squat : From your starting point on top of the step leave your left foot on the step, place right foot on the floor and "squat" quickly 3 counts. On the fourth count hop back up to starting position on the step then repeat to the left with right foot on the step and left on the floor. The triple squat (SEGMENT #1) counts slow 1and2and3 then back to start, the repeater squat) Segment #5) is a quick 1,2,3 then back to start.
