Power Pushups
This is a
Body Sculpting pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 8572)
These push ups REALLY work the arms and chest. And because
you have your students use the walls, everyone can do it!
You will hear the wailing of workout whines(-:
Have all your students pick a spot on the wall, making
sure they all have enough room for their elbows to extend out.
Ask them to face the wall, keeping their necks in line with
their spine, hands on the wall in push up position. Heels off
the floor, rolling on their toes with each "push" toward the
wall.
- Start with palms on the wall, push in for two counts, push
out for two counts. Do 20.
- Have them come up on their fingertips on the wall, again
rolling forward on their toes. As above, push in for two
counts, push out for two counts. Go for another 20.
- (The Burn!!) Go back to palm push ups, but this time have
them do 20 little pulses toward the wall. Double time
your count.
Stretch your triceps and pecs.
Repeat all three phases 2 more times!!
Any questions, drop me a line(-:
