For Petrina
This is a
Hi/Lo pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 8659)
Petrina in Hawaii has been so helpful to me over the years,
I had to dedicate a little Hi/Lo to her. Hope someone else can
use it too!
(I usually "step" into these moves..step knee,
step ham....)
- Kneelift 4x alternating moving forward (8)
- Double knees 2x alternating (8)
- Hamstrings 4x alternating (in place) (8)
- Double hamstrings 2x alternating (can add a twist) (8)
- Grapevine right/left (moving backward) (8)
- Step touch 4x alternating (8)
- Jog 3 kneelift forward/backward (8)
- Step kick 4x alternating (8)
- Double grapevine right (8)
- Heel/toe, Heel/toe left foot (4)
- Step hamstring 2x alternating (4)
- Step touch (left lead) "L" shape (8)
- Pony 4x (left lead) (8)
Repeat from double grapevine moving left
- Cross Cha Cha *** right/left (8)
- Jog forward 4x (4)
- Mash Potato 2x **** (4)
Repeat moving backward on jog
- Scoop 4x moving forward (8)
- Step touch 4x moving backward (8)
- Jump rope 8x in place (8)
- Lunge & punch right/left/right/left (8)
(I lunge with right leg & punch with right arm
at the same time)
*** CROSS CHA CHA : Just like a front cha cha except that
the lead foot crosses over other foot before the "step ball
change"
**** MASH POTATO: Heels and elbows go out & in with balls of
feet staying in contact with floor. Can Jack 2x for higher
impact.
Please let me know if anything is confusing. Thanks to all who
contribute to this wonderful site!
Thanks again Petrina. Hope you're enjoying your nice
sunshine while I shovel!! :)
