Jeff Christensen's Low Moves II
This is a
Hi/Lo pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 8672)
- Right lead - 3 count march forward with tap. (4)
- Step touch x 2 (left then back into the right).* (4)
- Left lead - 3 count march backwards with tap. (4)
- Step touch 'L' right - end facing right wall.** (4)
- Alternate left/right knee x 2 then double left knee
lift x 1.**** (8)
- Alternate right/left knee x 2 then double right knee
lift x 1.**** (8)
- Grapevine right ending with a 3 count rock.*** (8)
- Grapevine left ending with a 3 count rock.*** (8)
- Double hamstring curl left / right x 4 (16)
Repeat sequence facing new direction. 4 repetitions
brings you back to front.
Explanations / tips:
* Layer the step touches up to 'skates' or 'jumps' for
intensity.
** Step to the right then turn to face right wall as
you step touch back to the left.
*** Rock: Like rockinghorse ie: left ham curl, right knee
lift, left ham curl.
**** Don't forget to step then lift the knee to start.
Build the sequence facing the front of the room and
replacing the step touch 'L' with a regular step touch X 2.
Layer on the step touch 'L' afterwards.
It's pretty simplistic and I don't know why but they seem to
enjoy this one and mention it if I omit it from class.
