Put the cardio to your box!

This is a BoxAerobics pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 8699)

This is great at getting their heart rate up after the warmup and before the boxing patterns!

Then shuffle left and do the whole thing on the opposite side!

After a couple of sets of the above, have them do several jumping jacks and fake jump roping. Their heart rate will get up and stay up while you take them into the boxing routines. If you feel their heart rate has come down too much at any time during the class, simply take them back to this routine again during the class. It works!
