What a feeling

This is a Hi/Lo pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 8343)

Once a week I have a Surprise-class. This is not a usual hi-lo, exercise or stepclass. This class has something special and is even more fun. But the students never know what they'll get. This week I have made a choreography to the song "What a feeling" from the soundtrack Flashdance.

I first teach the 3 blocks (only block 2 is self-reversing). This is the usual aerobicsmusic. When they know it very well, I tell them what to do at the end and at the beginning from the song.

Block 1

Block 2

Repeat on the left

Block 3

End:

Do this 2x.
(When I walk to the front for the 2nd time I make a sexy pose*****, when I walk back for the 2nd time I make a bow)

Intro:

This is how the song goes:

I hope you understand what I mean. If you have any questions or comments please email.

Explanation:

*L-step: right leg step to the right, left leg step to the front, right leg step backwards, left leg step to the left (you get an L-shape)

**Big chasse: double steptouch to the right with a hop between

***Slow V-step: step right foot diagonally forward (1-2), step left foot diagonally forward (3-4), step right foot back (5), step left foot back (6), hop (7), hop (8)

****Janet Jackson: step right foot forward (1), step left foot forward (2), step right foot to the side (3), step left foot to the side (4), step right foot to the middle (5), step left foot to the middle (6), step right foot back (7), step left foot back (8). It's an easy walk with a straddle.

*****Sexy pose: weight is on the right foot, point your left foot on the floor and keep your left knee against the right leg, arms are up open (hold for 4 counts)
