Elbow touches - Iso pushes

This is an Abs pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 8391)

Have your students lie on their backs bring their knees toward their chest. Have them place their fingertips on their forhead. Have them crunch up repeatedly try to touch their elbows to their knees on every crunch. After a minute ask them to hold in the up position and extend their hands to their thighs and using resistence on their legs have them punch against their thighs. This will be an isometric contraction of their abs.

Continue this pattern of elbow touchs and then iso pushes for at leats three sets. The last set of pushes have them extend their legs straight in the and tell them to keep pushing. It is a killer. Give them a break and then have them move on to another ab excercise.
