Simple back exercise

This is a Body Sculpting pattern from (pattern 8397)

I adopted this exercise because we have steps and no swiss balls. It's a great exercise for the low back. You can work your back without hyperextension.

Step is flat on the floor (1-2 pegs on each side). Lay face down onto step. Your goal is to hang as much of your upper body off the step as possible and hold it there. If it's too easy, simply put more of your upper body off the end of the step. You can easily take breaks by putting your elbows underneath you on the floor. Your spine should be in a neutral alignment. Head also extending straight out from the spine.
