Pilates based abs
This is an
Abs pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 8414)
I hate to call this a Pilates move, I know that Pilates is
a very serious discipline and I am not trying to take away
from that, but I am sure this move originated from Pilates.
This is good to mix up your ab workout and get away
from boring crunches.
- Lie on your back, hands behind your head to support your
neck.
- Put legs up in the air, feet together, so your body is
a ninety degree angle.
- Lift your shoulder blades off the mat.
- Take your right leg and slowly lower it almost to the
floor for four counts, and up for four counts.
- Then left.
- Do each leg at least 8 times, if not 12 or 16.
I love pilates moves, if any of you out there are pilates
instructors please add some moves!!!
