Latin, Latin, Latin
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 8445)
This is my first pattern submission. I use the others here
all the time, thanks for all the help.
This is best suited if used with Latin music, it has a
slight Latin flavor. I used the Dynamix tape, "Best of Latin"
and it was great, my class loved it. Any questions, let me know
and I can help with terminology. Here it goes...
All combos are right lead and the bench is horizontal.
Combo #1
- Revolve the door X1 (8)
- V-step X2 (8) **or funky V- down below**
- Step kick X1 (4)
- Step kick, hop, hop, exit facing start position (on
other side of bench) (4)
- Up, up lunge X2 exit (left lead this time)(8)
- Up, up step tap side, side exit (on top of bench) (8)
- Over the top (4) (should be back to start position)
- Step tap side, side (4) (on the floor this time)
- Turnstep, mambo (8) (left lead on the turnstep,
mambo right)
- Turnstep, chug X2 (8) (right lead on the turnstep)
Repeat with the left lead
**Funky V= right wide left wide, shake your hips, hop knee
exit. It is a total of 8 counts, so shake your hips
accordingly.)
****The hop, hop in line 4, is on the right foot, and you
lead with your butt, two quarter turns, done on top of the
bench, then exit. Just practice and you'll get it.
Combo #2
- Step right, richochet pivot (to back of room), down left,
down right. Keep right foot planted and tap left foot
around to the front 3X's. (8)
- Step up right lunge, left lunge knee exit (8)
- I-step (8)
- Shuffle turn X2 (8)
Repeat left lead
Combo #3
- 1/2 L-step, tap left toe around the end (front to back
of room, 3 taps) (8)
- Crossover cha cha cha X2 (starts with left lead to right
side of bench, use the floor and move those feet) (8)
- Alternating ham curls, corner to corner (8)
- Right, mambo bench, pivot floor back to start
position (4)
- Stand feet together and shake hips X4 (4)
Repeat left lead
There is a fourth combo, but I need to really work out the
terminology. If you reaaly want it email me and I will give it
to you. Otherwise look forward to combo #4 to come soon. Take
care and enjoy. My class had a blast with this. They are very
advanced and love the challenge of strange choreography mixed
with faster bpm than normal.
