Simple but effective combo
This is a
BoxAerobics pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 8460)
Natural stance facing forward
- Jabs start right arm, left arm, right arm, left arm
- Bob and weave - move back (4)
- Hooks start right arm, left arm, right arm, left arm
- Knee strike start right leg, left leg, right leg,
left leg - move forward
- Squat then forward kick right leg, squat then forward
kick left leg
- Squat then forward kick right leg, squat then forward
kick left leg
- Jab up to ceiling start right arm, left arm, right
arm, left arm
- Uppercut start right arm, left arm, right arm,
left arm
- Shuffle to right x3 (arms right jab to side), and cross
left arm
- Shuffle to left x3 (arms left jab to side), and cross
right arm
- Grapevine to right, left knee up, grapevine
to left, right knee up
- Grapevine to right, left knee up, grapevine to left,
right knee up
Then take it from the top repeating everything on
the left.
I would teach it, first block, starting with 8 counts on each
side, then breaking it down to 4. When finished teaching first
block on right, I go to the left side. In between each combo, I
would skip it out or maybe do some jumping jacks, asking the
class if they're ready to move on, how they're feeling, etc.
