Karen's Vertical

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 8543)

Step is vertical. You are to the left of the bench (The bench is on YOUR right).

Right foot leads first-

Now you are ready to lead with the left foot.

*Curtsie - it's just a different version of an over-the-top, which is how I lead into the curtsie. Foot closest to the bench steps up, and the other leg swings behind and your foot lands on the other side of the bench from where you started. Then the foot on the bench steps down to meet the other. When I teach it, I start with over the top first. Then I say "change to curtsie - left foot stays on, right leg swings back, then right foot stays on, left leg swings back."

This is my first time entering a combination. Please let me know if this makes sense! This is a really fun pattern, the class enjoys this one!
