Nutbush City Limits

This is an Aquatic pattern from (pattern 9634)

Are you tired of the same moves? Have you ever had a mental blank anywhere in one of your classes? Do you want to add some fun, but still work them hard? If you answered yes to any of these questions, or if you are just curious, please read on....

This can be used as a warmup, or as a part of the class. The idea is really simple, remember "Nutbush City Limits", and the dance that we called "The Maddison"? All you need to do is adapt it to fit your class.

Then begin again.

If the class is unfamiliar with the routine, start off with only legs, then add some arms. Use whatever arm movements you like, mix them up abit to add variety, the more the better I have found. Once everyone has it, add some resistance, I use empty shampoo bottles (lol), if you have aqua bells go for it. Dynabands also work well, you can get resistance with arms up as well.

***I often extend this move, and change the tempo abit to mix it up, for example; alternating left & right high kicks for about 30 seconds, then on the next set I will yell "SOCCER KICKS!!" instead.
