Calling all Boxaerobic Instructors......Response
This is a
BoxAerobics pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 9685)
I've been kinda wondering where all the boxaerobic
instructors were too!
Here are a few unrelated combos in no particular order.
Combo 1 facing diagonal (left front corner)
- Left jab to left corner (2)
- Right cross to left corner (2)
- Right cross to left corner (2)
- Right knee up (turned out) (2). Twist at the waist so
you are looking right. Repeat facing right corner.
Combo 2 orthodox stance (left leg leads)
- Left knee slams X 2 (4)
- Right cross (2)
- Duck (2)
Practice a few times, then add on:
- Shuffle forward toward l front corner, with 4 left
jabs (4)
- Jump rope back (4)
Repeat in southpaw stance.
Combo 3 Facing front
- Jabs: single, single, double
Practice a few times, then add:
It looks like:
- Jabs: left, right, left X 2
- Uppercuts right, left, right, left
If you want to add some cardio, go into jab flurries
followed by uppercut flurries.
Combo 4 Orthodox Stance (left leg leads)
- Right cross X 2 (4)
- Left hook X 2 (4)
- Uppercuts X 4 fast (alternating right & left) (4)
- Slip X 4 (alternating right & left) (4)
Repeat in southpaw stance
Combo 5 orthodox stance (left leg leads)
- Left knee slam (2)
- Right front kick (2)
- Left knee slam (2)
- Right side kick (2)
- Left knee slam (2)
- Right back kick (2)
- Pause or uppercuts X 4 (4)
Repeat in southpaw stance
Combo 6 facing diagonal (left corner)
- Left hook X 2 (4)
- Right cross X 2 (4)
- Right cross-to-floor (pretend you're punching something
on the floor). (4) Cue, knee over foot. If you need
support, keep left elbow on right knee. Slap the floor
with hands X 4 (left, right, left, right) You're now in a
lunge position.... (4)
Then,
- Front kick and lunge back (with knee over foot) X
2 (8)
- Front kick again (4)
- With the final (4) count pause, stand and face right
corner to do it all over again with the other leg.
Hope this is all fairly clear, but please email if not.
