Hip Hop'n Cardio in Savannah, Ga.!!!!
This is a
Funk pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 9705)
Hi Everyone, following is another segment to
Hip Hop'n Cardio in Savannah. I've actually been teaching this class
for approximately four years, and have presented it nationally
at the Midwest Fitness Convention in Oklahoma City, OK.
If you have any questions/comments regarding this
choreography, please do not hestiate to contact me. Enjoy!!
I use this segment as a warm-up.
- Alternating right/left on the ball-change.
- Ball-change moving up x4 (1&2, 3&4, 5&6, 7&8)
- Walk back for 8 counts (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8)
- *Arm movement for ball-change pattern is pump arms
down (like you are pushing something to the floor), then
pump up (like you are pushing something up-palms facing
down then up)
- *On the ball-change, brings knees high into check, because
music tempo is slower, so you can over-emphasize
movements to make hip.
(repeat)
- Double step to the right (1,2,3,4)
- Double step to the left (5,6,7,8)
- Single step right/left (1,2,3,4)
- Side lunge right (facing front with left leg
straight) (1)
- Turn right knee in (2)
- Turn right knee back forward (3)
- Step right foot in and together with left, standing
upright (4)
Again, in a hip hop fitness class, music is slower so you can
over-emphasize movements to get your participants hearts
pumping. Have fun with this pattern, I will submit more
soon. :o)
