Cardio Intervals from Germany

This is a Step pattern from (pattern 9801)

This class is designed to make the heart rate rise and lower several times. Great for cross training and to avoid burnout. I start with a warm up, then do one step segment, which will be the "recovery" period, then start alternating those with the high intensity segments which will be the "work" periods. I always give 2 or 3 options for various levels of intensity as my class participants are mixed.

I do 2 1/2 minutes to 3 minutes of easy step patterns for the "recovery" and these one minute intense moves for the "work" periods.
