Tapless Plyo Step
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 9574)
I used this on Friday's class, very fast and a lot of fun.
All tapless, all 32 count blocks.
1st 32.
- 2 Heel digs corner to corner (one foot on bench one heel
dig to floor) (8)
- Over the top, double knee straddle, (10)
- March 2 on floor or...jump up on step, jump down from step
straddling step (both feet together) step left foot kick
right foot exit home, (6)
- Step kick again on home side, (4)
- Basic left or jump up on your step in 1 count walk to
floor with counts 2&3, hop on floor with count (4).
2nd 32.
- L-step on left side of bench,(4)
- Right foot lands on bench on North side, shuffle and turn
in (4)
- Left foot lead over the bench (4)
- Mambo cha, cha on floor facing the back of the room (4)
- Grapevine 2 times right and left still facing the back
of the room but on the North side of your bench. (8)
- Over the top, 1 knee lift. (8)
3rd 32
- 2 Stomps on left side of your bench, 2 stomps on right
or (10)
- ...stomp the "L", step on right stomp on left side of
bench lift left foot slightly,on floor, step back on right
foot, move left foot back to home side of bench, place
right foot on floor, stomp with left foot on right side
of bench stomp right foot on left (skinny side) of bench.
This can be an exagerated move.
- Step up lunge 1, (6)
- Stomp once on home side with left foot, once on home side
with right foot (I call this mambo right, left no cha)
march on floor 4 or jump over your bench, facing the back
of the room (8)
- Up lunge 2 facing the side of the room exit home. (8)
