Hip to be Square

This is an Aquatic pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 8881)

I have very large Aqua classes 20 people or more so this is great if you are limited on room...I'm writing this as though everyone starts out facing North, you can adapt it to your own pool.

Get your class doing any move (straight leg kick, rocking horse, etc.). Bring them forward for 8 counts and back for 8 counts, turn them west. Take them forward for 8 counts and back for 8 counts, turn them south. Take them forward for 8 counts and back for 8 counts, turn them east. Go forward for 8 counts and back for 8 counts. Finally turn them north again and start all over with a new move.

I love this for those days when I really don't have the brain power to be creative!! Plus it can really get their heart rate up.
