Make it Parallel

This is a Double Step pattern from (pattern 8955)

Step position: 2 steps set up side to side, vertical (similar to the number "11" or Roman Numeral II)

Each block is 32 counts and will self reverse.

Position: participants stands between the two steps, one on the right and one on the left.

Block A

(Repeat block A on left step)

Block B

(Repeat block B on left step)


"Around the world": standing between the steps, begin with the right step. Right step: turnstep (you're facing the back of the room and your left step is now your right), go to the step on your right: 1 turnstep (you're now facing the front of the room), return to the step on your right.

Flamingo: Right lead, step on top of bench, hamstring lift, straddle and leading with your left foot, go over the top of the step. Because this step is a lead change, when you exit the step do not step down and tap, step down left foot and down right foot between the steps and go to the other step.

Double knee repeater: Right lead, double knee, left lead, march on floor. Higher intensity substitute for the marches: 2 jumping jacks
