Get Back at Big Brother (32 cts)

This is a BoxAerobics pattern from (pattern 9283)

OK, I teach this and all my combos with a real opponent in mind, sparring-style. It's a great motivator. This time we are getting back at our big brother (or sister) for tormenting us as children. In particular, his favorite trick was to "fake" to draw your response, then punch you!

You are facing front

Now you are ready to start on the left lead

* I tell my class a feint is like a pretend punch, a fake (like your brother used to do): your hands are almost in a "guard up" position, but the "lead" one is slightly forward. Then you do a small step forward as you "fake" with both arms, and your shoulders as well. I've also heard this called a "check step," you're "checking" to see what your opponent will do.
