Get to Steppin'!

This is a Step pattern from (pattern 9324)

Step is horizontal; begin with right foot. This pattern is self-reversing. Questions? Please email me, and enjoy!

*Variation: Do one knee lift on your bench as usual, then do one on the floor -- walk away and knee lift.

**Backfire: this is a modified basic except you turn on top and do the two lunges off the opposite side of your step. Step up right (13) (start turning to the left), step up left (14) (you are now facing the back) and lunge right (15, 16)/left (17, 18) and exit right (19) left (20).

***Cross-over step: This is a box step that you do on your step to get to the other side. Step up right (21) (facing left on the back), cross over with left foot, placing left foot on the floor on opposite side of bench (22) travel on floor with right foot (23) and step on floor with left foot facing left (24).

****Hesitation chacha: this is a mambo on, over and back home with a chacha. I know it's called by other names, but I'm not sure what. Simply mambo with right foot (25, 26), straddle over (27, 28), mambo back on top (29) still with right foot and down (30), and add a chacha (31, 32), changing you to the left lead.
