Sonia's ABC's of Step (Routine K)

This is a Step pattern from (pattern 9363)

Step is horizontal. All 32 counts, self-reversing. Notes and choreography follow. You can crank it up a notch by doing the moves in parenthesis!

Combo 1

Repeat with a left lead.

Combo 2

Repeat with a left lead.

Combo 3

Repeat with a left lead from the north side.

Combo 4

Repeat with a left lead.

Combo 5


To spiral a move just turn in towards the step on your exit move so that your lead side is still to the step.

To split a move such as a basic or a V-step after you step up right and left you just lunge back right and left from the top of the step and then exit (8 count moves). I do the lunges at a diagonal on the split V-step.


*V-step cha cha cha: (1,2) step up wide right and left (3,4) cha cha cha on top of your step - this changes your lead (5,6) step out wide left and right on top of the step (7,8) step down left and right.

**Tire march: With the step between your feet you just march forward and back. You can control the intensity by how high you lift those knees (think of prancing)! This is a boot camp drill.
