Sonia's ABC's of Step (Routine L)

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 9364)

Vertical step with side approach. All 32 counts and self-reversing. *Notes/choreography follow*. Email questions or suggestions!

Combo 1

Repeat with a left lead or go to combo 2.

Combo 2

Repeat with a left lead or go to combo 3.

Combo 3

Repeat with a left lead or go to combo 4.

Combo 4

Repeat with a left lead or go to combo 5.

Combo 1
Note: On the indecisions you could add knees, lunges, or glutes for intensity.

*Rockover: (1,2,3,4) Chug chug and (5,6,7,8) over the top!

Combo 2
*Combo repeater: Do a knee lift, an abductor lift, and a hamcurl in repeater fashion.

Note: After you do the baby turnstep you are facing the back of the room. When you move "forward" on the hamcurls you are moving toward the back wall. The march is around the back/south end.

Combo 3
*Mambo combo: 1 mambo to the floor and 1 mambo to the step.

Note: One kick will be at the NW corner (top) and one kick will be at the SE corner facing the back. Make sure you walk on the second exit to face front again for the split lunges.

*Split lunges: (1,2) up right and left (3,4,5,6) lunge and up right, lunge and up left, (7,8) exit right and left to east side.

Combo 4
*Side T-step: (1,2) up right and left (3,4) straddle down right and left (5,6) up right and left (7,8) exit right and left off the narrow end.

*V-step straddles: V-step on the floor - as you step forward the step is between your feet, as you step back you are at the narrow end.

Combo 5
*Hustle up and back: Walk or skip forward 3 and tap. Walk or skip backwards 3 and tap. May add a knee up or kick instead of a tap.
