Something old, something new, something borrowed

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 10455)

I put this sequence together for this morning's step class. The first block is new and the rest is recycled or borrowed.

                                N
                         **************
                       W * * E
                         **************
                                S

Start at SE corner, facing W.

Block #1:

(Self-reversing -- repeat entire block)

Block #2:***

(Self-reversing -- repeat entire block)

Block #3:****

(Self-reversing -- repeat entire block)

Block #4:*****

* 6-lunge diagonal: Step up onto the bench as though you are starting a diagonal (beats 1&2), then do 6 alternating side lunges from the top of the bench (beats 3-14), then exit at the opposite top corner of the step, as though you are completing the diagonal (beats 15&16).

** See my Ooo-la-la ( Pattern #8571) for a description of this move.

*** Borrowed from "Vertical Step with Knee, Heel Toe Rock...from Doris" -- Pattern #10386, third block, for a description of this -- thanks Doris!

**** Three marches forward with a heel dig on beat 4, then three marches back with a toe touch back on beat 8.

***** See my "East Coast Boogie" -- Pattern #7390 -- for a description of this.
