Hi/Lo Arm Pattern

This is a Hi/Lo pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 10470)

This is an arm pattern I like to teach in my classes every now and then. It is a great "ice-breaker" and always gets the participants laughing!

1.

Start with step touch right and left. Explain that you're going to teach a simple arm pattern with the step touch.

2.

Then speed up to tempo

3.

Teach 4 steps (quadruple step touch) right and left and do nothing with arms. Tell them that the arm pattern will be added to this move.

4.

With quadruple step touch right add in the arm pattern. Cue up, down, cross, down, reach pull, reach pull.

Note: I always tell them "If you can say it, you can do it. Up, down, cross, down, reach pull, reach pull!" This not only reinforces it, but it gets everyone yelling out loud! Watch the laughter!
