Boot Camp Baby # 2

Hi everyone, I have had a lot of requests for more
boot camp stuff so on that note here it is. I always have
a bench with risers ready to use through out the
work out.
- Hurdlers with pushups. We do a set of hurdlers and
drop down to full body pushups. So it's hurdlers,
pushups, hurdlers, pushups you get it. We only do 4
pushups per set. I do these right after the warm up
so that we don't drop down for pushups after the
heart rate is to high.
- Low pulses with squats. We straddle the bench and
hands come down and rest on the bench and pulse the
bottom real low for 16 counts and then rise up to
the toes and back to a squat and up to the toes, you
get it. Then back to the low pulses as many sets as
they can do.
- Knee up side kick x4
- Charleston x4
- Turnstep x4
- Up & over x3
- Hop turn
- Repeat other side
I like to do the first two above combinations 3
times before moving on to the Turnsteps and Overs. This
is a very high intensity move sure to raise
the heart rate.
- L-step left
- L-step right
- L-step left
- L-step right
- L-step left cross x1
- Step kick & cross x1
- Step kick cross x1
- Knee kick knee cross x2
- Knee kick knee cross x1
- L-step back home
Repeat combos on other side. Again this is a heart
beat raiser.
- Alternate straddle on bench with forward raise
- Alternate straddle with upright rows
- Alternate straddle with lateral raise
- Squat across. You will need bands for this exercise.
Tie the bands in a knot and place around your
ankles. Squat across the floor for 8 counts and
back. I do this about 4 times.
- Ham curls with bands. I cue them to take a wide
stance and curl those hams toward the bottom
alternating for how ever many.
- Abduct with bands. Stay in place and alternate the
abduct. Not to many these hurt.
- Repeat from the top again with squat across.
