Legs and Lungs on Fire!

This is a BoxAerobics pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 10316)

Hi! I usually do these combinations in my kickboxing class after we go through all our skills. You could do them just once, or repeat over and over until their legs are ready to fall off! My class is ready to cry by the time we are done, but they love it!

Pattern 1 (16 counts)

Pattern 2-

Now, change knee strike to roundhouse.

I also like to add a "Jump Rope Interlude"- if my class is advanced, we actually use the rope, but if they are beginners, we use an imaginary rope and just jump. It is a great way to get the heart rate up and work the calves. Note of caution: If your floor is very hard, I would skip this. I advise people with sore knees or shins to bounce, keeping toes in contact with floor at all times.

3 minutes of Jump Rope!

Now you can start over with pattern 1 or move on to something else!
