Merry-go-round

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 10365)

Tapless, self-reversing, fairly complex.
Bench is horizontal. I know, most of you HATE using compass directions to describe moves, but, you really do need them for the first move. Give it a chance...

*Merry-go-round -not a self-reversing move as posted. But it could be.

FYI - be sure to show basic first because the pivot or reverse turn can cause some people to get dizzy. But, the choreo freaks love to reverse turn :D

**Box step -a hi/lo move. Done on floor off end of bench. Takes you to the FRONT (north side) of your bench.

My class LOVED this combo! They were hootin and hollerin throughout! To breakdown the merry-go-round, (Thanks Di) you can do 1 basic (4) walk around the bench 4, 1 basic (4) walk around bench 4, 1 basic (4). That's a total of 16 counts, keeps them on the same lead. Helpful for the members who don't like to spin.
