Chariots of Fire

This is an Aquatic pattern from (pattern 10385)

Hi everyone! Thanks for all the great ideas, keep them coming! Sometimes when workouts get stale, its fun to perk your class up with agame or challenge. I enjoy working with the noodles. Half way threw the workout in the shallow end, you can have your students do some chariot racing.

Have your students pick a partner, (making sure you have an even count of students including yourself or not, with it) Next have your students line up next to the wall with their partner in front of them. The front line are the horses and the back are the chariots. The noodles are one on each side of you and your partner. Horse holds front of the ends of the noodles and chariots hold the back. Then on your mark get set go. The chariots create drag by letting their legs float behind them. The horses are running as hard as they can to the other side. Then they switch positions and race back! Be sure to remind the horses to run toe ball heal. (press heels down, don't run on the balls of your feet.)
