Rick-D - Double Step #1 - Horizontal

This is a Double Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 10039)

The benches are horizontal and side-by-side, designated "Home" and "Away".

Each combo starts at the Home bench, leading left (X in the diagram).

Combos are 32 beat, self-reversing and generally tapless. L-steps can be made tapless by using a leg-lift instead of a tap.

Moves marked with "*" are described at the end. Start each move facing the front (north) unless stated otherwise.

Each move is shown as: (bench leading foot) [Facing] Move (Beats) Comments

When doing the combo in the reverse direction, interchange Away with Home, right with left, east with west, northeast with northwest and southeast with southwest.

*Moves (leading right)

Angle basic: [northwest] a basic right, or [northeast] a basic left, while facing the bench at an angle.

C-step: [west] 2-repeater knee right, down left, walk backwards and around the near end of the bench right, left, right.

Cross-back: [west] up right, hop right while swinging left leg curl behind, down left, down right.

Diagonal hop turn: [west] moving diagonally over bench, up right, hop right and turn to face opposite direction [east], down left, down right.

Diagonal skip over: [west] moving diagonally over bench, up right, hop right, down left, down right.

Double turnstep: turnstep on one bench right, left, walk to adjacent bench right, left, turnstep on adjacent bench right, left, down right, down or tap left.

Hop over basic: [north] up right, hop right and turn to face the back [south], down left, down right.

Jump shot: up right, jump right - like shooting a basketball, down left, down right.

Revolving door: [west] over the top and turn to face the opposite direction [east].

Skate: 3 x leg curls on top of the bench right, left, right, down left, down right.
