Karen's Step Combo #1

Step pattern from

Hello everyone! Thank you to all who have contributed to
this site. It has been a lifesaver for me, so now I felt it's
my turn to give back. Hope you enjoy this one!
All segments are 32 counts, start right lead, and are
self-reversing.
1)
- Right basic 2x (8)
- 2 Alternating leg curls corner to corner (8)
- 1/2 L-step off left end of step (4)
- Across the top 2x (8)
- Knee up and exit off the back (4)
Repeat starting left lead.
2)
- U-turn: turn/straddle/turn, tap down on front side
of step (8)
- 2 Abductors right leg (8)
- Up, up straddle left/ up and exit left (8)
- Up, up lunge right/left and exit right (8)
Repeat starting left lead.
3)
- 3 Left front kicks to left corner (12)
- 1/2 Pivot turn on floor, cha-cha-cha (4)
--pivot turn half way around so you're facing right.
--another option is to just march on the floor.
- Knee up, straddle down, knee up, tap down left (8)
- 2 Pump steps and push over the top (8)
Repeat starting left lead.
4)
- 1 Right basic (4)
- 2 Jacks on floor (4)
- Slow V-step (8)
--step up right 1,2/ step up left 3,4/ march into
center of step 5,6/ and step down off back 7,8
- 3-Repeater knee to left corner and tap down (8)
- Over the top (4)
- March forward around end of step (4)
Repeat starting left lead.
Well, there you have it! I hope it all makes sense. I
usually teach using an add-on style--so I teach the first two
segments and combine them. Next I teach the third segment and
then I go back and do all three starting from the top. Then
I teach the fourth segment and then I loop them all together
for one long combo. Please email me with your comments or
