Yee Haa Rodeo

Boy! I'd sure like to be in some of your water classes. I see so many great ideas here. I'm excited to get back in the water and try them out! Here's an idea that really encourages everyone to get their arms up. I usually have a country song going (Cotten Eye Joe) Or I'll just start with a loud "Yee Haa!!" as we go into a wide knee jog. Cupped hands 'pushing' water on either side of knee as we are wide knee jogging. But you could certainly do something else with arms...

For the cardio speed up we put one hand on our hips as we continue to wide knee jog and use one arm to 'Rope in the Wind'. Then switch to rope with the other hand in the air. (Ambidextrous Cowgirls and Cowboys) Then we switch from a wide knee jog to a high knee jog and rope to the sides. Both arms at the same time.
