Vertical Fun

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 10093)

For something different, I turned the step so that it's vertical facing front instead of horizontal. This doesn't break down well into 16 or 32 counts but it's a perfect 64-count routine. I start on the left side at the back end of the step with up-taps.

You will now be facing toward the back of the room and you'll be on the opposite (left) leg ready to start with the diagonal again.

* L-step off the end: Same as a regular L-step only you do it off the skinny end of the step since it is facing vertical.

** Fake it: right foot steps up (almost a stomp) on the step for count 1, left foot taps on the ground for count 2. Do this 2 times. It's kind of like a mambo except the right foot doesn't tap back down. I tell my class to act like they are going to do an up and over but at the last minute don't go over, fake it!

Have fun with it and let me know what you think :-)
