This is a Hi/Lo pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 10169)

Hi everyone,
These are some interesting combos I used in my Fatburning Class yesterday. Hope you like'm !!!

Combo 1 (32 count)

Repeat these 8 counts

When your class get this, add the following change in direction:

Repeat left lead.

Combo 2 (32 count)

This one is self-reversing, repeat combo left.

* Grapevine Latino: normal grapevine, but on the 4th count, instead of touching left foot, cross it over the right foot. So this is: step, cross behind, step, cross front.

** Helicopter turn: step heel curl right, step heel curl left, hop 4 counts on right foot while making a full turn 360 degree and at simultaniously lift your left arm high in the air: now you're a helicopter!! My class loves this move, it's funny and a different way of switching lead legs.

Teaching progression: step heel single right/single left/double right. Let the class continue to do this, alternating right and left lead while you show them: single/single/hop 4 counts on right-foot.

So instead of the double curl, you do the 4 hops. You and your class are moving within the same rhythm so they feel comfortable and are able to watch you while they keep moving!! After a few times, perform the 360 degree turn while hopping. Tell them to follow your example and off you go!!!
