Oblique burn !

This is an Abs pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 10171)

This one is a killer for the obliques:

Hold a hand weight in right arm:

Repeat each of the above steps long enough to create a burn, work with tempo variations and static work by holding the move for an 8-count. Keep cueing stabilizing the lower back and avoid people to start swinging their hips, keeping the left elbow open and keep looking upward.

Before switching sides, here's a great exercise to do in between: No hand weight here !

Change to:

After performing this 8 times, add this tempo variation:
- keep upper body lifted, and move both arms under and above the knees, 6 times and go down.

This will be:
- Under (1), above (2), under (3), above (4), under (5), above (6) and go down (7-8)

You simply touch hands, upper body is lifted and doesn't move! This really works the stabilizers and finishes them off!!!

Now switch sides with the oblique exercise !!
