Mix it up!!!!!!!

This is a Step pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 10176)

This is a couple of combinations for the step. I took various moves from step and box aerobics to make this simple, yet fun and EFFECTIVE pattern!!! Always start with right lead. Explanations below pattern

Basic straddle-- Step up right & left (1,2), right foot goes in front of step and left goes in back (3,4) right and left back on top (5,6), walk down right and left (7,8) (add a hop on 5,6 for intensity)

Rocking Horse0-- Hamstring, knee, hamstring

V and punch-- Walk up like regular V (1,2), punch across right and left (3,4) (feet don't move), jump feet together and kick (5,6) and walk down (7,8) ** If they don't like kick and jump, just after punch walk together and down..

Jax option-- 2 regular jacks (4) then two quick heel (1,2) out and in (3,4)

Boxer repeater-- step knee (pull arms up high and then down with knee) (1,2), 3 taps (3-5) (arms are over head in a rodeo motion) bring knee up on last tap (6) walk down (7,8) ** arms make the movement.

Use STRONG SONGS for this one, it is basic but challenging when options are added and flows very smoothly for beginners to advanced. I used SURVIVOR, BUTTERFLY AND INDEPENDENT WOMEN on this routine. On the boxer repeater everyone did the arms to "throw your hand up" from independent women. Anyway enjoy :)
