This is a BoxAerobics pattern from (pattern 12006)

I actually modified this pattern from watching my son play Mortal Combat. Sheeva is the conteneder and she won that round!!!

The pattern is in 12 counts. I do it to the right then do some sort of arm drill at tempo and then go to the left. At first the class thought I was crazy but the timing worked itself out and it was a blast.

  • Plyometric jump to where your opponent would have landed (2 counts) this is where the timing had to work itself out but it did.
  • 2 Left cross jabs towards the floor (make sure your opponent is down). I call them "get them while they're down", they are usually part of my routine because they are great for the abs and basic body stabilization/strength (4 counts)
  • Slip out of the way and you're back to your starting point (2 counts).

    Do as many as you wish.

    Break down!

  • 1 Plyometric jump to your opponent (3-4 counts)
  • 2 Left cross jabs aimed at the floor (5-6, 7-8 counts)
  • 2 Bobs or slips back to starting point (9-10, 11-12)
