Jodi Loves the BOIS
This is a
Warmup pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 12011)
I've used this combination as a warm-up, then follow with
isolated static stretches.
A:
- Alternate knees up moving forward, right, left,
right, left
- Tap right foot to the right two times while moving back,
- Tap left foot to the left two times while moving back.
(16 counts)
B:
- Right V-step forward (the first two steps should be wide
and a little forward)
- Ski back (tap back) right and left.
- Right V-step back (the first two steps should be wide and
a little back)
- Tap forward right and left. (16 counts)
C:
- Side step (step touch) 4x (change this to a turning side
step - 4 side steps making a full 360 degree turn back to
starting position - the turn is over your right shoulder)
- Step right, double curl left
- Step left, double curl right (change this to a step right,
curl left, then left tap back crossing behind the right -
4 counts) (total 16 counts)
D:
- Walk forward, repeater
- Walk back, repeater (an option to make this a little more
advanced would be: walk forward right, left, right, left
knee up, left foot tap the floor back, forward, back, left
knee up - then walk back left, right, left, right knee up,
right foot tap the floor back, forward, back, right knee
up). (16 counts)
