Jodi Wants More!!!!
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 12055)
Hello everyone! The step is horizontal for the following
combination. Right lead for each block. It's all
self-reversing.
A:
- Basic right 2x
- Over 2x (facing west)
- V-step right 2x
- Repeater knee
(32 counts, repeat left lead)
B:
- Diagonal (facing west)
- One tap moving back (make this tap back a "long tap
back", that's how I cue it, enabling you to be clear of
the step on the east end facing west) then do:
- 2 Jumping jacks on the floor (still facing west)
- Step right on the end, left hamstring curl
- 1 Jumping jack on the floor
- Step left on the end, right hamstring curl
- 1 Jumping jack on the floor
- Turn and walk away (this turn will be facing the front of
the room on the home side, aka south side, turn by
stepping up right, then wide left (just like a regular
turn) step down right and continue moving back, step back
with a knee up on the 6th count and then walk forward to
return to the step. Now you're ready for the same block
with a left lead.)
(32 counts, repeat left lead)
C:
- Step knee straddle
- L-step off the end (facing the back of the room)
- Across the top (the long end)
- Repeater and straddle
- Repeater and tap off
(32 counts, repeat left lead)
D:
- V-step 2x
- Turn 1x, grapevine on the floor, facing the back of
the room (the step will be behind you)
- Diagonal
- Walk around to the home side of the step (option: pivot
hop, or "fly" over)
- Mambo 2x (in the same corner)
***I do the mambo a few times very basic and then
give them the option of doing a mambo using the step, a
little cha cha turning to the back of the room, mambo on
the floor with opposite lead and cha cha back to the
step.
(32 count, repeat left lead)
E:
- Turn straddle
- Hop back and keep walking: right foot comes up on the
step after the straddle, left knee lifts and you hop back
to starting position, now step down left and right but
keep walking back left, right, left, right knee up and
then walk forward to return to the step right and left.
- Over 1x
- Double knee/push over 2x: just like a repeater knee, but
go over the step on the third knee.
(32 counts, repeat left lead)
Please write if you have any questions. Have a great day!!!
