Intermediate Step and Fun
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 12073)
Combo One:
- Up and lunge back two
- V-step right x 2 (take it to a front and back V right foot
both times)
- Turn straddle turn straddle twice: glute swing over (to
mirror)
- Walk around (or step tap around)
Combo Two:
- 1 Knee straddle (1-4)
- Reverse hop straddle (5-8)
- Facing side - 2 knees on top (NO EXIT) and two lunges to
the side (indecision) Straddle down
- Shuffle turn (you are facing the back wall when you
shuffle - not exactly a shuffle so don't complicate
this)
- Reverse walk over (end up looking at your pretty face in
the mirror)
- Double knee (5-8).
Combo Three
(Really advanced. I can't teach a totally intermediate
class):
- Stomp right (facing left corner of step) and pop knee over
(1-4) and travel over the right side of the step (5-8)
(motion similiar to over travel over)
- Double knee (1-4) (on left side of step) and box to the
back (5-6) (on the floor)
- Slide * (see below)- you may be on the the left foot when
you actually go to teach this. I'm giving you 4 combos vs.
exactly how I put them together. I change my class
frequently.
Combo Four
(back to intermediate):
- 3 Knees on top to 3 kicks on top (then do a spiral vs 3
knees. All that is step right, lift left knee, step right,
lift left knee & 3 kicks on top). Now do a power move for
count of 8. I do 2 basketballs and 2 safe's (An Andre
move. Then 6 lunges, over travel over and a repeater knee
(make it creative at least). 6 lunges can become 2 squats
to side (no exit) 2 lunges (no exit) 2 squats and now exit
to over travel over and repeater knee.
* Slide - on step right comes up left hits side of floor by
step - right foot hits floor - left comes on top of step then
right comes up (both on top now) now do an angle V (left angles
then right angles) and while on top of step with both feet
walk around the left side of your shoulder and this puts you
on the right corner to do again) Really cool move. Good luck.
To teach it do right left right and left foot comes up and
stomp x4 and do 1 ham. Take out 4 stomps and do angle V with
1 stomp and 1 ham and take out stomps and ham to do walk
around. I borrowed it from a recent tape I bought.
