Wow! My first submission. I owe a lot of my ideas to Karen
(smooches!) Clarity is my great ambition, so here we go!
Tapless and self-reversing (let your body flow!)
Combo #1 (right lead)
- Basic right (4 count)
- "Nasty V-step" [step up wide right-left slow (1-3), hands
on your knees (4), pump the booty back (5-8), step down
right-left slow (9-12)]
- Kick alternate (8 count)
- Repeater: knee-abductor-curl (8 count)
Repeat with left foot leading
Combo #2
- Syncopated crab [right-left on top (1-2), squat off the
side right & back to center on step (3-6), squat off left
side & back to center on step (7-10), 2 lunges back
(11-14), exit off right-left (15-16)]
- Right lead rocking horse (8 count)
- Bench walk: right lead [chug (1-2) step forward on the
floor (3-4) chug (5-6) step back (7-8)]
Not to be the 'Mother Hen', but please remember to instruct
your classes regarding proper and safe form on the aerobic
bench. The more attention we pay to keeping our backs straight
and lengthening those legs for repeaters, the more effective
the workout and the more likely we are to enjoy longevity in
the health and fitness arena.
