Aerobic Body Sculpt #6??

This is a Body Sculpting pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 11065)

Please note: after warm up, pitch tempo down to 118-122 bpm, use light weights. You will also need ankle bands, a dynaband and a mat for this format.

Warm up

Repeat all other side and then stretch upper and lower body

Weights - double up 5 or 8 pound pair of weights

Change arms and legs (works lats, rear delts & a little bicep)

Place little bands around ankles, place mat on floor in front of step and 5 - 8 pound weights or heavier if you have guys in class

Stand up - little bands still around ankles

This will get that heart rate back up!

Standing on top of step begin reverse lunges alternating. Add:

Get dynabands -

Switch arms and legs to left leads

Weights:

Clock Lunges (all 6:00 lunges are reverse)
forward lunges at the following time zones -
12:00 - 2:00 - 3:00 - 6:00 change leads
6:00 - 9:00 - 10:00 and 12:00
add some plyometrics to get heart rate up again

Be sure to show modifications for any low impact persons

Weights 5 pounds should do it

Change leads

Add abdominals such as planks with knee drops, side planks, and you should have a full hour or so class! The heart rate stays within the 75-90 training zone so not only are you burning calories and fat during this class but also building muscle which is imperative.
