Another Interval Plus ++ Class !

This is a [Other] pattern from (pattern 11126)

Interval class using the step....

Warm Up

I do this adding the next move one in a progression and then start to power it up a bit - hop on the taps, etc.

Cycle 1 (floor)

Recover = variation of the warm up

Cycle 2

(using the step - off the end of a horizontal step)

Recover = heel taps/toe taps on the step, heels taps back

Cycle 3 (floor)

Recover = boxer shuffle, wide/narrow march, grapevine, basic step/V-step on the bench (recovery in between each 30 second interval)

Cycle 4 (step)

Recover = over the top/3 abduction/over the top/3 abduction

-->fire it up with turn/lunge/knee up/lunge/turn/knee up...., add propulsion on the knee and the turn, lunge instead of a tap down - 30 seconds

Recover = over the top/3 ham curls/over the top/3 ham curls

If I still have time I will throw in some power drills (speed basics, speed straddles - 30 seconds). If I think they're pooped I just end with a simple step combo using moves we might have missed to balance things out. I think with this class we turned the step vertical and went over the top and added single & double lunges from on top of the step and some leg lift backs.

Cooled down with over the top/step tap/mambo/kick on a vertical step.

We also end with a bit of tubing work - shoulders/triceps/chest one day and bicep/back/abs the next.
