Punches for guaranteed results

This is a BoxAerobics pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 10751)

I am a big believer that the more basic the moves in kickboxing classes, the more productive and effective the class is. I have found when I throw a lot of combinations in, students tend to lose their form and concentrate more on getting the combos down, then working on that technique. I always cue my students to "tighten up" the arm and focus on good form. Basic is better.

Basic boxer's stance, right shoulder forward.

Then:

Then:

Add them together and do one set with the jabs/hooks, and one set with the jabs/strikes. It's killer!

**I submitted a previous pattern where I incorporated light weights to the punch combo. You could incorporate very light weights with this pattern; however, it would probably be "safer" not to do the double jabs since people tend to lose their form with the faster moves.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE. If you have questions, let me know.
