Heather's Lower Body Blast

This is a Body Sculpting pattern from www.turnstep.com. (pattern 10898)

Hi, everyone, this is my first contribution. I just started teaching about 2 months ago. I really hope you all like this pattern. It is very effective, and you'll feel it the next day!!:) Below, I've written out tips and in no order the excercises I do for my Butt & Gut class. I know it works - you'll get lots of moans!!

Standing Exercises

Floor Work


* For the squats, do as many as your class can handle, start with heavy weight and decrease.

* For the Froggies (this will help them keep their feet together) place a very light (like 2 pound) dumb bell between their feet

* You need a step, for adductor exercises - I like to put my top leg on top of the step (it helps me lift my leg higher)

* I also like to turn a step vertically and do squats off the side (one leg on, one leg off) aleternate between 12 squats off, 12 squat with knee lift to belly button and 12 squat side leg lift, this really gets them complaining!!!

* Change the sequence about every 4-5 weeks, beats boredom and challenges the muscles!
