Senior Balloons

I use this occasionally with my seated senior fitness class and they love it. It really gets them moving and I have a hard time getting them to quit!

Set up two rows of chairs facing each other so each person will have a partner facing them. Give each pair a balloon. Have them hit it high, low, fast, slow, use the feet or anything else you can think of. Then use one balloon and have them pass/hit it down one row and then the next. I then like to use two or three balloons and have a free for all letting them hit them to anyone they like. You can also have the chairs in a circle and use one or two balloons and let them use their hands and feet to hit them.

It is very challenging to think up activities and routines for seniors. Thanks to all of you who share your ideas!
